Key Responsibilities
Psychiatric Evaluation & Diagnosis
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
Diagnose and treat a range of mental health disorders (e.g., depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, substance use disorders)
Treatment Planning & Management
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring effectiveness and side effects
Provide supportive therapy and refer patients to specialized psychotherapy when needed
Advanced/Interventional Treatments
Deliver and oversee advanced/interventional treatments (e.g., TMS, ketamine-based therapies, etc.)
Collaboration & Supervision
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists, and therapists
Order and interpret lab tests and diagnostic evaluations
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Participate in supervision and mentorship of advanced practice providers (as applicable)
Required Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for Georgia licensure)
Strong knowledge of psychiatric conditions and treatment modalities
Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or interest in interventional psychiatry treatments (e.g., TMS, ketamine therapy)
Familiarity with evidence-based psychotherapy approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT)
Experience in outpatient mental health settings
Interest in collaborative and team-based care models
