We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support financial reporting and tax-related activities. Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions
Accounts Management
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Tax & Compliance
Assist in tax preparation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Support internal and external audit processes
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience
Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role (preferred)
Experience in public accounting is an advantage
Certification
CPA certification (or progress toward certification) is a plus
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred Skills (Optional – Can Be Added)
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
Knowledge of sales tax, payroll taxes, or corporate tax
Experience in industry-specific accounting (e.g., construction, retail, healthcare)
