Job Title: Director – Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage a Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic while also contributing to academic teaching. This role involves a combination of administrative leadership, clinical supervision, teaching, and service responsibilities. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality clinical training for students and effective service delivery for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Administration

Oversee daily operations of the speech-language-hearing clinic

Schedule clinical sessions, student assignments, and faculty supervision

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies

Manage clinic documentation, client communication, and records

Oversee clinic budget and resource management

Train and support clinical faculty and staff

Address concerns from students, clients, and stakeholders
Teaching

Teach academic and clinical practicum courses across multiple terms

Support student learning and clinical skill development
Supervision

Supervise students providing speech-language therapy services

Review clinical documentation, treatment plans, and reports

Provide mentorship and performance feedback to student clinicians
Service & Professional Development

Participate in professional conferences and academic activities

Support student admissions and program development initiatives

Maintain professional certifications and licensure

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

Professional certification in Speech-Language Pathology

Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain

Minimum 5+ years of clinical experience

Prior clinical supervision experience

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent)
