Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Manager (Infusion Services)

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner Manager provides clinical and operational leadership across multiple ambulatory infusion clinics.

This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, managing multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining efficient clinic operations.

The position requires a balance of clinical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to oversee workflows, compliance, and performance across locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Leadership

• Provide clinical oversight in collaboration with medical leadership, including case reviews, care planning, and addressing escalated patient concerns.

• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and prioritize patient safety at all times.

• Review and approve patient documentation for accuracy and compliance.

Team Leadership & Development

• Manage and support a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and clinical support staff.

• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees.

• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and regular team check-ins.

Operational Management

• Oversee daily operations of multiple clinic locations, ensuring smooth workflows and quality patient care.

• Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.

• Monitor key performance metrics such as patient outcomes, satisfaction, and operational effectiveness.

• Implement strategies to improve clinic performance and service delivery.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.

• Support quality improvement initiatives and audit processes.

• Participate in regulatory inspections and accreditation activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage complex clinical and operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in clinical procedures, including IV therapy, central line care, and infection control.

• Knowledge of infusion medications, biologics, and patient monitoring.

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and general computer applications.

Education & Experience:

• Master’s degree in nursing (Nurse Practitioner) from an accredited program.

• Active Nurse Practitioner license.

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in infusion therapy or a related field.

• Prior leadership or management experience preferred.
