Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support manufacturing and fabrication operations by ensuring products meet project specifications, quality standards, and industry requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural steel fabrication, construction, welding inspection, or a related field, along with strong blueprint-reading and quality assurance skills.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect fabricated and structural steel components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards

Review blueprints, shop drawings, weld details, and fabrication documents for dimensional accuracy and workmanship

Perform visual inspections of welding, fit-up, layout, coatings, and overall fabrication quality

Identify, document, and report non-conformances and
corrective actions

Collaborate with production teams, supervisors, and project stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues

Maintain organized inspection records, reports, and supporting documentation

Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, consistency, and manufacturing efficiency

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications (required)

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification

AWS standards

Additional quality control, welding inspection, or fabrication-related certifications
