Job Title:  Quality Control Inspector – Structural Steel Fabrication & Welding

Full-Time | On-Site

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support manufacturing and fabrication operations by ensuring products meet project specifications, quality standards, and industry requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural steel fabricationconstructionwelding inspection, or a related field, along with strong blueprint-reading and quality assurance skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect fabricated and structural steel components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards

  • Review blueprintsshop drawingsweld details, and fabrication documents for dimensional accuracy and workmanship

  • Perform visual inspections of welding, fit-up, layout, coatings, and overall fabrication quality

  • Identify, document, and report non-conformances and

corrective actions

  • Collaborate with production teams, supervisors, and project stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues

  • Maintain organized inspection records, reports, and supporting documentation

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, consistency, and manufacturing efficiency

Required Qualifications

Industry Background:

Knowledge:

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprintsshop drawings, and project specifications (required)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification

  • Knowledge of AISC and

AWS standards

  • Additional quality control, welding inspection, or fabrication-related certifications

  • Valid

driver's license
