Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Survey Group Manager to lead transportation surveying operations and support transportation infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will oversee survey field and office teams, manage project delivery, ensure compliance with transportation agency standards, and support business development initiatives with public sector clients and municipalities.
This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in transportation surveying, project management skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Survey Operations Management

Manage and oversee transportation survey projects from planning through final delivery

Provide leadership, training, mentoring, and technical guidance to field and office survey personnel

Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards
Project Management & Quality Assurance

Ensure compliance with transportation agency survey standards, specifications, and contract requirements

Perform quality control and quality assurance reviews of survey deliverables, reports, maps, and plans
-
Review project schedules, budgets, billing activities, and project performance metrics
Business Development & Client Relations

Develop and maintain relationships with transportation agencies, municipalities, and public-sector stakeholders

Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities and positioning the organization for future contracts

Participate in proposal preparation, qualifications packages, and project pursuits
Technical Leadership

Provide oversight for survey computations, mapping, right-of-way surveys, and transportation-related survey projects

Ensure adherence to applicable surveying standards, procedures, and best practices

Support roadway, highway, street, and
multi-modal transportation projects
