Key Responsibilities
Estate Planning & Advisory
Provide legal counsel on estate planning strategies for high-net-worth clients
Design and implement tax-efficient wealth transfer plans
Advise clients on trusts, wills, and estate structures
Drafting & Documentation
Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and related instruments
Prepare and review legal agreements and documentation
Ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards
Trust & Probate Administration
Manage probate processes and estate settlements
Oversee trust administration, including asset distribution and compliance
Work closely with executors, trustees, and beneficiaries
Tax Compliance
Prepare or assist in preparation of estate and gift tax returns
Support tax planning strategies in coordination with financial professionals
Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
Client & Stakeholder Interaction
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients
Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors
Qualifications
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Experience
5+ years of experience in trusts and estates law
Experience working with high-net-worth clients
Proven experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration
Licensure
Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Additional state bar admissions are a plus
