Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Lending Associate Attorney with 3–7 years of experience in commercial lending to join a fast-paced and collaborative legal team. This role involves working on complex lending transactions, providing legal counsel, drafting and negotiating loan documents, and supporting a diverse client base, including financial institutions and lenders.
The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, transactional experience, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Document Drafting & Management
Draft, review, and revise loan and financing documents
Ensure compliance with legal standards, regulatory requirements, and client-specific terms
- Legal Counsel & Advisory
Provide legal advice on commercial lending matters
Offer strategic guidance based on current laws and regulations
- Negotiation
Review and respond to opposing counsel's comments
Negotiate loan terms with stakeholders while protecting client interests
- Client & Stakeholder Communication
Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and internal teams
Provide updates on transaction progress and key developments
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation

Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in commercial lending or related legal practice
Experience representing financial institutions or lenders
Knowledge of real estate financing and/or secured transactions (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word
Strong grammar, proofreading, and legal writing skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with document management systems (e.g., iManage or similar tools)
Work Environment
Office-based role with extended periods of computer use
May require working beyond standard business hours
Occasional lifting of office materials (up to ~20 lbs)
