Key Responsibilities

Case Management

Handle family law cases from initial consultation through final resolution

Manage a caseload including divorce, custody, child/spousal support, domestic violence, and post-judgment matters

Develop case strategies and ensure timely progress of all matters

Legal Drafting & Documentation

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and settlement agreements

Prepare legal correspondence and case-related documentation

Ensure accuracy and compliance with legal procedures

Court Representation

Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences

Represent clients in negotiations and legal proceedings

Advocate effectively for client interests

Client Interaction

Provide legal advice and guidance to clients

Maintain regular communication and case updates

Build strong, professional client relationships

Qualifications

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Experience

Minimum 3+ years of experience in family law

Ability to independently manage cases end-to-end

Senior candidates (10+ years) or those with an existing client base are highly preferred

Licensure

Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
