Job Title: Electrical Estimator – Construction Projects

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Mode: On-Site (Office + Field)

Travel Requirement: Up to 50% (local travel to project sites)

Role Overview

The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This role involves analyzing project requirements, reviewing design documents, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop competitive bids and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Cost Analysis

Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects from concept through design stages

Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scope

Develop accurate budgets and support purchase order preparation

Bidding & Proposals

Participate in bid preparation and submission processes

Assist in developing contract proposals and pricing strategies

Review bid documents and ensure compliance with requirements

Project Coordination

Communicate with clients, engineers, architects, contractors, and vendors

Collaborate with estimating and project teams to ensure alignment

Support pricing of change orders and scope adjustments

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of estimates and project data

Attend meetings and provide updates on estimating activities

Ensure all documentation meets quality and compliance standards

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, trade school certification, or equivalent experience (preferred)

Experience

Experience in electrical construction or estimating (preferred)

Familiarity with electrical systems and construction practices
