We are seeking an experienced Lead or Senior Mechanical System Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This role involves designing and overseeing mechanical systems for industrial facilities, with a focus on utilities, HVAC, plumbing, and process systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Mechanical System Design
Design and engineer mechanical systems for industrial facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and utility systems
Develop system layouts and perform engineering calculations for:
High- and low-pressure water systems
Chilled water systems
Steam and condensate systems
Thermal fluid systems
Compressed air and vacuum systems
Industrial piping and wastewater systems
Technical Drawings & Documentation
Create and review technical drawings using AutoCAD (2D) and Revit (3D)
Leadership & Mentorship
Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers
Site & Client Collaboration
Conduct site visits to collect data and evaluate system requirements
Collaborate with clients, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams
Project Management & Quality
Ensure project delivery within timelines and budget constraints
Maintain high standards of quality and continuously improve processes through feedback
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license (Mechanical)
10–20 years of experience in mechanical system design for industrial or manufacturing facilities
Strong knowledge of:
HVAC and plumbing systems
Industrial utilities and process systems
Relevant engineering codes and standards (e.g., ASME, OSHA, ASHRAE, FDA guidelines)
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Strong attention to detail and specification development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
Experience in food processing or similar industrial environments
Leadership experience managing engineering teams
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
