Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Design
Serve as the Engineer of Record on assigned projects
Lead electrical system design and oversee preparation of engineering analyses and reports
Establish design standards, specifications, and project criteria
Review and ensure accuracy of technical drawings and documentation (CAD/Revit)
Project Management & Coordination
Plan, assign, and manage multiple engineering projects and team workloads
Lead coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders
Participate in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
Support proposal preparation and contract administration
Oversee construction administration tasks such as RFIs, field reports, and addenda
Team Leadership & Mentorship
Supervise, guide, and evaluate engineering staff
Mentor team members and support technical training initiatives
Provide performance feedback and contribute to team development
Client & Stakeholder Interaction
Act as a key point of contact for project-related communication
Coordinate with contractors, architects, and project teams to ensure smooth execution
Monitor project progress, documentation, and communications
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
Professional Engineer (PE) license
12+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a consulting environment
Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
Strong hands-on experience with electrical system design and CAD/Revit tools
Experience in sectors such as healthcare, commercial, aviation, or critical facilities
